Who We Are
We are a non-profit 501(c)3 service organization of mothers of children who have served or are serving in all branches of the Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines). We support each other, our troops, their families, and our veterans while promoting patriotism.
Tri Counties Blue Star Moms is a local chapter of the Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc. The chapter was chartered in January 2007 and services Yuba, Sutter, and Colusa Counties.
Each year we pack and mail 500 to 1,000 care packages of snack and hygiene items to troops seving overseas. Contents are donated by local businesses and our community. We also provide, free of charge, "Mommy" and "Daddy" dolls to children needing help dealing with the separation of their military parent.
